With over 30 years of broad international experience in the design, fabrication and installation of advanced, tensioned fabric structures. Architectural tensioned fabric structures are favored for creating dramatic, unique architectural statements.

This project involved the custom engineering and installation of a tensile fabric structure to enclose the tennis courts located on the rooftop of a large sports center at Brown University. The structure features a sophisticated internal truss system supporting a durable, lightweight fabric roof that provides an expansive, column-free interior space for multiple courts. This design maximizes the use of urban space by utilizing the existing building roof for new athletic facilities, all while ensuring year-round, weather-protected play. The resulting facility delivers high-quality indoor tennis courts that blend structural functionality with an airy, natural light aesthetic.

This project involved the engineering and construction of a permanent, architecturally significant stage cover for the Peace Center Amphitheater, creating a premier outdoor performance venue. The structure features a custom-designed tensile fabric system—likely engineered by Span System Inc—which provides column-free, weather-resistant coverage over the performance area. The curved, open design allows for seamless integration with the surrounding urban parkland and residential buildings, while the structure itself supports complex lighting and sound rigging. Serving as a focal point for community and cultural events, this durable canopy provides a protected, professional venue that enhances the area's year-round entertainment offerings.

This project involved the custom design and installation of the architectural span canopy system for a new transit station. Span System Inc engineered and erected the tensile structure, which includes the sleek, curved roofing membrane supported by multiple steel column arrays and a fabricated perimeter frame. The canopy serves as an essential functional element, providing weather protection for commuters, while also acting as a key aesthetic centerpiece for the station's contemporary design. The work required precise coordination within an active rail corridor, ensuring all structural components were safely installed to meet public infrastructure standards and project deadlines.
